Youth Leader
Anish Gudipaati is a junior at Franklin High School and a youth leader at YLDP. At YLDP, he spearheaded a public speaking outreach in Hyderabad, India, teaching students the basics of public speaking. Outside of YLDP, he’s the founder of a successful public speaking club in my school.
Youth Leader in Training
Medha Inapuri is a sophomore and a youth leader in training at YLDP. In school, she is involved with various activities from mentoring younger children in STEM to having the role of social media director for clubs. In particular, Medha enjoys teaching elementary school kids during STEM club and spends every week making lessons for meetings. She has goals to have a career in the medical field and hopes to open her own office someday. Medha’s hobbies include cooking, drawing, and reading.
Youth Leader
Ayesha is a junior at Lawrence High School. She is currently a youth leader at YLDP and is a member of the Program Management team. In school, she participates in her school DECA chapter. In her free time, Ayesha loves to read, listen to music and spend time with her friends in her free time.
Youth Leader in Training
Tanay Samnani is a sophomore at Robbinsville High School and a youth leader in training at YLDP. IHe first joined YLDP in 7th grade as a student before becoming a youth leader in training. In YLDP, he’s a member of the finance team tracking payments, budgeting, and donations. Outside of YLDP, he’s a member of his school’s Model UN team, track and cross country team at my school, and founder of his school’s aerospace club.

Shriya Machanpalli is a freshman at Bordentown Regional High School and a youth leader in training. Shriya first joined YLDP as a student in elementary school and later joined as a youth leader in training this year. In school, Shriya is a member of her school’s Debate, Model UN and Mock Trial team. She loves that YLDP has not only improved her public speaking but also her confidence, leadership and organization. Outside of public speaking, Shriya enjoys reading, baking and singing as well.

Zoe Sandela is a sophomore at The Academy for Health and Medical Sciences and a Youth Leader at YLDP. Her passions lie in the intersection of medicine, advocacy, and literature. Outside of YLDP, Zoe is the president of her school’s Doctors Without Borders chapter and a cadet at Montgomery’s Emergency Medical Service team. In her free time Zoe loves to read, journal, and learn new languages.

Hasini Nandyala is a freshman at Bordentown Regional High School and a member of the marketing team. She first joined YLDP as a student in 3rd grade before becoming a youth leader in training. Outside of YLDP, she’s a finalist for the Monmouth University Summit for a speech on sustainable solutions, a member of her school’s debate team, and competes on her school’s Model UN team. In her free time, Hasini loves to read, bake, and listen to music.

Vidur Jannapureddy is a sophomore at Robbinsville High School and serves as Director of the Operations and Innovations. He first joined YLDP as a student in 5th grade before becoming a youth leader in freshman year of high school. Outside of YLDP, he’s a member of his school’s robotics team (FRC 2590), and conducts research investigating applications of quantum computing and disease detection in the world
Youth Leader & Director of North Carolina
Tanvi Appani is a freshman at Cox Mill High School in Concord, NC and the Director of YLDP North Carolina. She first started YLDP as a student in third grade and now leads the NC chapter. Outside of YLDP, She is a member of her school’s Model UN team and loves to debate. In her spare time, she enjoys binge-reading, listening to music, and boosting social welfare in her community.

Ishika is a junior at Hillsborough High School and director of marketing. She started handling YLDP’s marketing during COVID and began teaching in the fall of 2022. In school, she is the editor in chief of the school yearbook, the vice president of her school’s Amnesty International chapter, and a varsity member of her Debate team. In her free time, Ishika enjoys reading and singing.

Director of Program Management & Youth Mentor
Ananya Madireddy is a Junior at the Pennington School and serves as Director of Program Management. She’s been involved in the program as a student since 5th grade and became a Youth Leader in 8th grade. As director, her responsibilities include developing the curriculum, training new youth leaders, and expanding the program. Outside of YLDP, she uses her public speaking and leadership skills as a Student Ambassador, Co-Founder of the South Asian Student Society, and more.
Director of Operations and Innovation & Youth Mentor
Oliver Huang is a Junior at Princeton High School and serves as Director of Operations. Outside of YLDP, Oliver is Captain of the Princeton High School Speech and Debate team and competes in extemporaneous speaking. He’s quarterfinaled at the Yale University Invitational, placed 3rd at the NJ state tournament, and qualified for the Extemp Tournament of Champions. Besides speech, Oliver enjoys cooking and studying international relations.
