Why YLDP?

‘Character Development’ is the primary focus of YLDP. Founded by Cecilia Jackson a decade ago, Youth Leadership Development Program spurs the needed thoughts and speaking skills among the younger generation. YLDP acts convincingly across time and place to serve self and others in positive ways. Youth Development and Leadership Program’s primary focus is on the empowerment of young people.

YLDP Program’s objective is to imbibe the confidence among the youth considerably. Of late, we can witness younger generation facing lot of hurdles in work place or in their life journey due to lack of proper speaking skills. This non-profit Leadership Program enhances their confidence to the maximum extent possible by and large.

What is YLDP and its purpose?
YLDP is referred as Youth Leadership Development Program and it is mainly focused on tapping the right potential of children who aspire to become successful leaders.
What is the duration of YLDP? Who can enroll in it?
It is an 8-10 Week Program. Young People from Grades 3-12 can enroll in it.
What is the most needed skill for becoming good and powerful ‘Leaders?’
Good Communication Skill is highly mandatory for becoming good and powerful ‘Leaders’.
Are Leadership Qualities inbuilt? Or can it be acquired with Training?
For some kids, Leadership Qualities are inbuilt and they often exhibit it with their actions. On the other hand, for some, it may be hidden and it is our responsibility to bring it into the open. With proper training, it can be achieved and our YLDP Program predominantly work on this aspect.
In which campus YLDP is functional?
In Princeton Campus YLDP’s Public Speaking Course is functional.
Who are the trainers of this Program?
People who have already enrolled and proven their mettle as successful leader/orator spare their time in training the kids who are destine to become future leaders.
